JSA Ranch is a working horse ranch where you can take a lesson, go for a trail ride or explore the farm and visit lots of different animals. Why only visit for a day when you can get the unique experience of living on the ranch?
We have two different styles of accommodations to fit the type of stay you are looking for.
Looking for a getaway in the woods? Our cabin is over 150 years old at its shell. OK! so it has been modernized a bit and boasts 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom. The cabin is an experience for those wanting to try out rural living.
Although you won't have to venture outside to the outhouse in this cabin, it is at heart a rustic cabin in the woods. You will get the modern conveniences of the century, but don't expect the rainfall shower head spa experience or the chef's kitchen with a vent hood. Luxury? Nah, this cabin will have you living like a cowboy or cowgirl. Who needs luxury as long as you have a nice cool/warm place to lay your head down at night, a place to cook your vittles, keep your drinks cool, and wash up your clothes after a day hitting the dusty trail? This is after all the cabin experience.
Your adventure will start with a gravel driveway and nature! A lot of nature! This rental will give you access to the 30 acre ranch. Pets (1 only) are allowed with prior consent at the time of booking. We look forward to you coming to visit the cabin!
The Cabin
The cabin experience not what you are looking for? The chalet on property is a more modern approach to ranch living. This unit offers 1 lofted bedroom, 1 bathroom and full kitchen. Quiet and cozy is key here. You have a paved private parking pad, back deck to enjoy a nice cup of coffee on in the morning.
While this still may not be considered luxury by many - this is the rustic design of a cowboy who went city slicking and moved back home and wanted a more comfortable place to sing in the shower, relax in the bath and hang his hat at night. Yes, it has those flat panel TVs - with the ability to log into your Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and whatever the flavor streaming app of the week is.
Don't worry you aren't going to miss out on the ranch experience - because right out your front door you are steps away from the ranch and all the animals and activities it has to offer.
The chalet is still on a ranch and subject to all the pollen nature has to offer a few times a year, well water that may startle city slicker noses (we assure you it is safe), as well as dust and dirt from the farm. This property is still a ranch experience just elevated from the cabin experience.
